Dr. Rivera-Velez is a proud Puerto Rican and first-generation dentist of a family who has inspired her during every step of her journey to become a healthcare provider. Important experiences in her life, such as an exchange program to Salamanca, Spain, and her general practice residency in New York City, have exposed Dr. Rivera-Velez to diverse and multicultural environments. These experiences have awakened her interest in traveling and interacting with diverse people worldwide. During her free time, Dr. Rivera-Velez enjoys going out with friends and family and watching movies.
